China’s aid to Nepal; aircraft en route to Nepal carrying medicines to battle against COVID-19 outbreak
China’s flag carrier, China Southern airline’s aircraft en route to Nepal along with medicines and other medical types of equipment in support to handle COVID-19 escalation as it has been declared as a pandemic by WHO.
Nepal certainly not in the position to handle in case of the outbreak since two confirmed cases have been announced by the Ministry of Health and to suppress the escalation the initiative taken by the Chinese government can be a short relief to Nepal.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the aircraft will be landing shortly today at TIA.
