An unknown package which was expected to be a bomb was spotted at Pokhara Airport premises today due to which all the incoming and outgoing flights got disrupted.
It had been reported that the unknown package which was expected to be a bomb was found at gate no. 1.

Nepal Army bomb disposal team reached the site to take care and defuse the bomb under the cooperation of Nepal Police. The airport has already resumed its operation after the disposal team secured the area within half an hour.
Biplav led party had announced bandha today and it is expected that the bomb was planted by the party. Earlier today, a bomb blast took place at Bhatbhateni Super Market at Chitwan smashing the window glasses.
