An official belonging to Thai Airways has been killed at Tribhhuvan International Airport (TIA) after one of the fuel bowsers from Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) hit him inside the airport premises.

The deceased has been identified as Mr. Sanu Ban (55) from Koteshwor, Kathmandu who had been working as a Senior Technician for Thai Airways.

The technician died while undergoing treatment at Sinamangal. The driver of the fuel bowser has been taken under control by Gaushala Police Station and necessary investigation protocol is going on.

This is probably a bizarre incident at a delicate place like an airport where safety is always a top priority.
